TV regular and award-winning interior designer Shaynna Blaze has supported Cancer Council since taking part in an online charity auction for the charity.
“I first supported Cancer Council in 2014 year with a designer charity auction in partnership with Sealy Posturepedic. Myself and other designers and artists created a series of limited edition beds that raised money for cancer research, prevention programs and support services to help Australian women.
“It’s important we continue to find ways to raise money for this important cause, whether it’s through donations or fundraising activity. Cancer is a terrible disease that can affect anyone at any time, so it’s important we do what we can to help.
“Cancer Council’s Girls’ Night In is a great way to raise vital funds towards cancer research in October. Get your house looking good and invite your girlfriends around for a night of fun. One of the many fundraising suggestions includes selling off unwanted treasures and furniture. Invite guests to bring something to sell, whether it’s recycled or homemade, even skills like painting can be auctioned off to your friends.
“I fully support this year's campaign and I hope people get creative in the homes to support women with breast and gynaecological cancers.”
